LMN’s next regular board meeting is on July 9th starting at 6:00 pm in person and on Google Meet. The link will be posted here right before it begins. You’re welcome to spectate and there will be a public comment that usually starts around 7:30 if you’d like to ask questions or speak to the board.

If you have something you’d like to ask/share but you’re unable to attend, drop a comment below and I’ll bring it up for you.

Key updates:

  1. We have a new board member! We welcome Kelsey Earle as a new board member. She’s got an expertise in communication and writing, and deep experience working with non-profits in the Lansing area.

  2. We thank Joe Zimmerman for many years of service on the board, and wish him all the best as he focuses on other adventures.

  3. 501c3 paperwork has been filed. It’ll be some time before we get the determination, but we are able to once-again operate as a nonprofit!

  4. We’ll be adding coupons for folks that talk classes and are interested in being first-time members.

  5. We will be renewing our focus on bringing in more revenue to LMN, allowing us to more easily pay bills, fix and improve tooling, and add other programs. Please email president@lansingmakersnetwork.org if you have specific ways that you can help with this.
