Wood shop project help needed

I need 1-2 people to help with a project in the wood shop. I want to put up some shelves on the south wall near the loading dock. No special skills are needed, but the individual shelves are heavy.

I’ll be there Sunday morning about 9, and expect this to take 1-2 hours at most. Please reply here if you want to help.

There is a new set of shelves in the wood shop near the loading dock, and they are almost ready for use. There is wet paint there at the moment. Tomorrow (Wednesday) should be ok.

These are intended for storing member’s tubs that are being displaced by the space across from the jewelry area that is being converted to private studios.

These look so good. Thank you Tony

I can be there to help. I can be there earlier too if you’d like, otherwise I’ll see you there at 9

Leon, the original request was for last Sunday - Nov 17. Sorry, I wasn’t clear on that. My bad.

But I’m thinking of another work session this Sunday (Nov 24) say 11-1. Does that work for you?

Sure does, I’ll be there!

The new shelves in the wood shop are open for business. These are to replace member tub storage on the racks on the north side of the building, which is being converted to private studios. Feel free to bring your tub over and claim a spot. Be sure it has your name on it. A parking pass is quick, easy, and already sticky.

There is also some wall space set aside for holding large pieces of material. Please remember to put a parking pass on your stuff. Items left for too long can earn you an email asking if you will finish soon. Items without a parking pass may be used for classes or other LMN purposes, or may end up in the scrap bin, where they are fair game for anyone to use. I’m looking at a nice chunk of maple we uncovered today…

Finally, some materials that were in this area were moved to make room for this work. If this was yours, look around. Most of it only was moved a few feet.

Tony
