Vcarve on design lab computers

ISSUE: Vcarve not installed, wont work, and licesnse issue on design lab computers.

I tried using Vcarve on the design lab computers today. the one closest to the windows(far most east computer). had to be rebooted 4 times before it worked. and when I launched vcarve it kept asking for a license #. I tried logging in with my makerspace vcarve account to see if that would help. it did not.

So then I tried the middle computer: installed and vcarve opens but when you go to open new project or file. you get an error “cant communicate with server, check internet.” but internet was working and I could log into my vcarve account.

Computer farthest from the windows (west computer). Not installed. I tried to use the Trial version installed and with my makerspace account I signed up for that should have worked. but when I tried to export a tool path I get an error saying trial version and you can’t export custom"

I tried this at home as well and got the same error. I just did some investigation and it doesn’t look like you can actually export your tool paths at home. you can save the file but you have to log into a Makerspace computer to export tool paths.

Looks like the far most computer next to the windows is working. Thwre were too many installs to know which program to launch. However it dis require i log into my veteics account in order for it to work. Not sure what the average user would do.
