VCarve: CNC Feeds and speeds for Amana Tools

Hello. Sorry for spamming the board with CNC questions.

I have purchased some Amana Tools bits CNC projects:

  • 46280-U CNC 2D & 3D Carving 6.2 Deg Tapered Angle Ball Tip x 1/32 Dia x 1/6 x 1/4 Shank
  • 46225 Solid Carbide Spiral Plunge 1/8 Dia x 13/16 x 1/4 Shank

I also have the Amana Tools library for VCarve - but I’m not sure what the proper tool settings are for this machine. I know these bits are not officially supported by LMN, so any help is greatly appreciated.

The software has a manual process for adding bits to the software that has to be saved to your email and reloaded whenever you start a project. Evelyn can help with this

Okay, good to know! I will be sure to export my tools after I have set them. I’m doing a lot of research because I am still not sure exactly what settings to use.
