Textiles area donation requests

Hi!
I’m making some large ironing boards for use in the space, and need some heat resistant fabric. If anyone has an old wool blanket laying around, I would really appreciate it. The bigger board is 4’x3’, the fabric will need to be a little larger so it can be attached. I had a blanket that was big enough for the medium size ironing board, I’m having trouble getting it to flatten out though.

If anyone has any thread holding racks that hang on the wall, those would be great too.

Ooh - @Lex @JamesFriend do you think the fire board could work for this? I know we probably aren’t going to need the whole thing for the stained glass area.

That’d be perfect, and can also be used to make little portable ironing boards for classes and stuff.
