Test Class for Wooden Flutes!

Title: Making a Woodland Tuned Native style Flute
When: August 1-2, 10am-2pm
Cost: $50 (when live this class will cost $250)
Available to: Volunteers and Current Members only
Teacher: @Douglas

Previous skills required: Have used a table saw, router, and mitre saw in the past.
Comfortable with sharp hand tools. If you have taken a woodworking class at LMN before, you have the skills needed.

Class Description
Choose from a selection of Maple, Cherry, Walnut. Learn what makes a flute work and what does not from forming the sound block and sound hole to specifically tuning each hole. Thru out the class we will be learning how to play the instruments. Participants will need to be familiar with the table saw, planner, jointer, router, and lathe. We will be using a shellack or butcher block oil finish.
