Sad indeed, but even they admit in their statement that a for-profit model for makerspaces doesn’t work as well as a nonprofit model. Which means we’re doing it right. 
And it seems to have the potential to be a galvanizing force in a number of communities to support their local NFP spaces or create new ones:
It might be worth it to attend whatever tool liquidation they hold.
I submitted their form expressing interest in assets. We’ll see what happens.
