I just came by to work on a project (Saturday at 12:30) and it’s closed. Is that normal?
I was supposed to cover the opening shift and came down with the flu pretty bad. No one has been able to cover the shift so far. I’m sorry that you weren’t able to come in

I’m sorry you were locked out and the space was not open. Multiple people tried to get ahold of Nicole (the new Volunteer Coordinator) and Brian (the Executive Director) but didn’t get a response as to who was to cover opening shift.
@JamesFriend upu did the right thing and gave plenty of notice for when you realized you couldn’t come in. You have no reason to be sorry and gave plenty of warning. Hope you feel better soon?
Eventually Jody and Brian did come to open the space after Charlie let a number of people in.
