Repair Cafe Volunteers needed Oct 18, 1-5pm

We are running another Repair Cafe on Sunday, October 18th from 1-5pm.

During this event we’ll be helping folks from the community fix whatever they have that is broken. Last time this was run we fixed a vacuum, a couch, a baby stroller, and a ghost hunting machine among other stuff.

I’m looking for volunteers that would like to spend some time to fix some stuff. Please let me know what kinds of things that you would like to fix, we’ll be limiting the items that come in based on the amount of volunteers that we have and what skills we’ve got to offer.

This is a free event, but we’ll be collecting donations, and we are looking for a sponsor so this can act as a fundraiser for LMN as well.

I can volunteer then, and have some experience with repairing computers, 3D printers, and some very limited experience with repairing small electronics.

I’d be interested! I can do take-apart-table level mechanical stuff, darn holes, and sew/alter stuff.
