This has been a long time coming! The main dust collector (table saw, jointer and planer, router table) now has remote key fobs to start and stop it. No more walking all the way over there, bending down, and walking all the way back. Your back is happier already! I know mine is.
There’s also more convenient pushbuttons on the collector itself, and they light up green and red!
I put three fobs around the circle. One on the table saw, one on the post by the jointer and planer, and one on the large router table. Press A to start it, and B to stop it.
It will shut off automatically after about 20 minutes. This is in case it gets started by accident (It’s well known that roving gangs of teenagers drive around at night with remote controls trying to start people’s dust collectors).
