I don’t know if this belongs more under the project talk category or here but I’m wondering if anyone has leftover refractory cement I would be able to use. I’m looking to use some for a small test of a ribbon burner and forge liner and would rather not invest in a whole expensive tub of it just for it not to work. Let me know thanks y’all.
Satanite has temperature rating 0f 3200 degrees can be used or Mizzou would do it has a rated temperature of 3000 degrees F. If want just experiment RUTLAND Refractory Cement available from HomeDepot rated at 2000 degrees. I have some Rutland left and would make it available. Would you want to do as a LMN project, I could meet you. We could use the welding area make the metal box, would working make the form and so on.
