Public domain roundup: new year 1930 edition!

Happy new year!
A new year means new things in the public domain. Here’s a collection of things from 1930 that have just freshly been released from copyright!

French marquetry book. The scan is not the best quality but there are some very nice pictures, which could be traced for line art, and a few that scanned well enough for use. And some unique drawings of rooms. Very pretty book.

Wallpaper samples. I think I found one of these while I was tearing out the 7 layers of wallpaper in my kitchen.

Illustrations of cacti

Lots and lots of line art for different periods of history and areas. (Please be advised many are now considered hate symbols, please don’t use those ones for anything)

Line art for tile designs.

Full color tile layouts

I’m not sure what the purpose of this book is but it has a lot of colorful background or fabric type illustrations.

Fashion magazine, with advertising and some craft designs. Some pages are color and some are microfilm.

You have to scroll through a lot of text but there are some really good repeating patterns in this one.

Patterns for various lace and embroidery

Some very lovely murals and sketches, art mostly starts on pg 64

A book by Popular science with lots of woodworking patterns, hundreds of them for furniture, toys, pretty much every kind of thing you’d want to build

Not much going on here I just really liked the cover.

Thank you, James! I’m going to look through these later, when I have more time. :slightly_smiling_face:
