I wanted to let you know that MSU will be hosting their annual milling demonstration this Friday, October 2, from 10 am to 1 pm at the Surplus Store & Recycling Center parking lot at 468 Green Way, East Lansing. MSU’s Landscape Services will be using their portable sawmill to cut up live-edge slabs. Come out and see the mill in action. Slabs that are cut will be available for sale. Full slabs approximately 8 to 10’ in length will be $45 with half slabs being $25. Slabs are typically cut to about 2” thickness.
