New: Looking for someone to check me out on woodworking equipment

Hi,

My name is Kevin and I just signed up with Lansing Makers. I am an experienced woodworker, but some of the equipment I have not had access to. I would like to get checked out as soon as possible so I can begin working on some various projects. I looking to be able to use most tools in the woodshop. jointer, bandsaw, miter saw, router table, drum sander and sanders, and planers.

The short answer is that if you want a check off soon, come Thursday evenings. I may not always be available as doing check offs is not the only thing I do. And yes, there are other people at the makerspace that are able to do check offs. Please understand, we are all volunteers–the makerspace has no paid staff. If Thursday doesen’t work, let me know. I will try to help figure ou an alternative.
