My friend Paul at work wants to design a finger-joint box to hold his wallet and keys. The plan is to use an online fingerjoint box generator to get started, then pull it into Inkscape and customize.

makercase.com (simple, nice interface)
festi.info/boxes.py (overload of amazing boxes, use Illustrator to convert to dxf for the laser)

There are several Inkscape plugins that I’ve found in the past. I use https://github.com/paulh-rnd/TabbedBoxMaker pretty exclusively now.
