Muralmatics Camp! Some things you need to know

We’ve been selected for an incredible opportunity! We will be hosting the 2026 MuralMatics Camp!

For three weeks in August, we’ll be welcoming muralist Dustin and a group of teens for a summer camp experience. The kids will design and complete a mural on the north side of the building. You can read more about MuralMatics here:

The dates:
August 3-4
August 10-14
August 17-20

On August 20th we’ll host a Closing Celebration for everyone!

All of these activities are happening outside of Open Hours, so there aren’t any changes needed for those that are working in the shop.
Part of the parking lot will be closed off as they do their work. If parking becomes an issue we will open the south parking lot as well.

I am personally so excited to have more color around our space and to see what these creative minds create. If you run into the group and they are on a break, please take a moment to show them what it is that you make at LMN.

This is awesome! Do you know if they could use volunteers or still have open spaces for teens? I have a sort-of “apprentice” — we adopted each other when I taught her 7th grade ELA — and I’m always scoping out stuff for them.
