MSG’s November Meet-Up
Lansing Makers Network

Our next meet-up will be held at Lansing Makers Network, 2730 Alpha Access St.,
Lansing, MI on Sunday, November 10, from 1:00-3:00. The Makers ‘brings diverse
people, experiences, and ideas together in a safe environment; to meld technology, art,
and culture in new and exciting ways; to share skills, tools, and inspiration; and to
marvel at what we make together’. On top of that, it’s centrally located in the state, thus
accessible to many of our members! What better place for metalsmiths to meet? The
Meet Up will cover brief introductions, a short tour of the jewelry studio, and time for
networking and sharing:
● Show off new creations; tell us how it was made
● Share what we’re working on - successes/challenges/frustrations
● Get feedback from fellow metalsmiths
● Discuss new techniques, resources and upcoming events
You will need to sign up at the front desk on arrival.
This will be our last meet-up in 2024, so you don’t want to miss it. It’s a great
opportunity to meet like-minded metals aficionados, so grab a friend or two and
stop on by.
Light snacks will be provided, and you are also welcome to bring your own snacks.
More information on meet ups in 2025 will be coming in later in the year. We are
always looking for venues throughout the state, and we welcome your suggestions.
