@Mark could you tell us more about the make and model of the printer?
Before accepting the donation could you please tell us more about the make and model of the printer?
The printer is a Snapmaker/A360. I would lend you the user manual if you are interested.
You apparently have no interesi in a 1000 dollar printer. I will find some other place to get rid of it.
Hi everybody, if LMN doesn’t need that and Mark if you wish to donate that to an individual I would be more than happy if I could have that, even for a short period of time…I’m a sculptor and now I’m working on some 3d sculptures that I want to make 3d prints from.
Hi, Mark! Leif may not have seen the reply w/ the make & model, just yet. Many of the area managers + our volunteers have fulltime work or are in school. Please give Leif time to respond, as Leif is the Digital Fab area manager.
If the printer isn’t something LMN ends up wanting, please know we greatly appreciate the generous offer & that it’s not personal if we decline. There are various reasons we aren’t always able to accept all the donations offered to us. Just a few of those reasons may be: We simply do not have space or need, items may need more maintenance than is feasible for us to upkeep, items are not working, fixable or will cost more than we can afford to fix, even if a volunteer works on the item in their own time.
Perhaps in error I had taken marks last response as he would not be donating it, If he still would like to I would be delighted to have it. If not, then Im sure someone else or another organization would be delighted to have it.
