Makerbook.io - a directory of commercial shops, maker spaces, etc

I came across a reference to a website called makerbook.io. It’s a searchable directory of maker spaces, commercial shops, hobby shops, etc. It was created to allow you the maker to search for a place in your area. Maybe you need a ginourmous planer, or someone to do custom welding, or you need some other exotic tool that’s just too expensive to buy for a one-time use. Here’s a resource to help find that.

I can’t say for sure, but I get the feeling that this site was created within the last year or so, and they’re still getting the word out about it. So there may well be maker spaces, commercial shops, etc that are not listed here, but do exist and would be happy to help with your project. For example, LMN isn’t in here.
