Hi everyone! I’m new to the makerspace and was hoping to get checked out on a couple items in the iron works area. Could anyone point me in the direction of who to talk to?

Hi Jamieson welcome to the space, I’m Adam the Welding area Manager. @Maria can give checkouts for the ironworks area, I can also give checkouts on the forge and the welders. If you’re interested in either of those, I’ll be in the space on Thursday from 6:30-7:30 and can do a checkout before or after (be warned the forge checkout can take a bit), I’ll also be in the space on Sunday starting from 2:30 and can give a checkout then as well. Once again welcome to the space, and I can’t wait to see what you make!

Before would likely work best, would 5:00 or 5:30 work for you? What are you looking to learn? The forge, the welders, or both?

5:30 would be great! I’d love to do both, but if we are pressed for time, the forge would definitely be my priority.

For Ironworks, I’ll be in the space Saturday. I’m teaching a glass bead class 1-4pm but could do a checkout after that
