Introduction - Nicole S

Hello, all! I am a lifelong artist and crafter who has recently gotten into stained glass, and I’m excited to have a larger space to do so rather than a small apartment! I’m passionate about non-profits and sit on the board of the Salus Center in Lansing, so I’m thrilled to be more involved with this one! The first tools I’ll be looking to check out will be the stained glass soldering station, but I have a history with woodworking and can’t wait to use the woodworking tools either. Happy to start being a part of this community!

Hi Nicole! Welcome!

I can do a checkout on the stained glass area this Saturday, anytime between 2:30-8pm if you are available.

Hi, Lex! Thank you so much! I will plan to be there around 3ish. :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

Hi, Nicole - welcome to LMN. It’s a great place to fuel your creativity!

I am the wood shop area manager, and I am one of the people that does the checkouts to show people how to use the tools safely. Thursday nights are set aside as a drop-in time for this, from about 5-8 pm. Other nights are possible if Thursdays don’t fit your schedule. Post a request here on the talk site with a couple of dates and times that work for you, and we’ll figure a time that works.

One other thing - I will be in tonight - May 7 - but will be out of town next Thursday. I believe someone will be there to cover that day, however.
