Hello all-

My name is Jonathan, new to Lansing and trying to get connected. Just joined after attending the silver ring making workshop.

I, like most folks here, have a wide field of interests. From metalworking to woodworking to graphic design. I have built a couple houses, ran a couple of art businesses and am always exploring new things (SQUIRREL!)

I would like to get check out on ALL the things, but would like to start with the CNC, the Trotec, and the woodshop (and the vinyl cutter, and the metal shop/welders, and the stained glass, and 3D printers, and the …).

I am retired-ish and would like to learn about volunteering at the space too.

Nobody said hi to you, so let me be the first. Hi!

I’m new myself this week, also interested in lasers. I’m not exactly retired but I’m kind of retired on active duty (old military joke) due to a job schedule that leaves me a ton of free time. I’d be interested in any laser projects you had in mind. I’m just learning it myself.
