Hey, I’m Jeremy.
I’ve been wanting to join since I learned that I like woodworking as an adult, like my father and grandfather before me. My wife and I love how welcoming the space is and came to one of the adirondack chair classes this summer. I finally got my membership the other week, when it finally got too cold for me to be working on cutting boards in the garage. I’m primarily interested in the woodshop, but would love to learn things on the fabrication side too (3D printing, lasers, cnc, metalworking).
I’ve been making since I was a kid spending many Saturday mornings at the Lowe’s and Home Depot kid’s workshops, putting together the various kits and building Legos. Since then, I’ve been renovating my house over the the last few years. This year, I’ve started making cutting boards as gifts for my friends with my table saw and planer.
I would like to be checked out on a few woodworking tools - primarily the jointer, table saw, planer, and bandsaw. I’ve seen that Tony does this mostly on Thursday evenings. But with the holidays, are there any times in the next two weeks that you’ll be in the shop?
