Hi!

My name is Elliot and I am a current holder of one of the library passes for the Makerspace. I moved to Michigan from the East Coast almost exactly 3 years ago now and during my brief time attending college there I was part of the Burlington Makerspace.

Not too long ago I started getting back into knitting and even more recently I’ve been wanting to get back into sewing and garment construction so I’m excited to be able to use the textile area! In addition, I enjoy the fact that my creative whims are no longer constrained to what can fit in my apartment! The projects I am currently working on are costume pieces to wear for the Renaissance Festival.

Welcome, Elliot! My name’s Anna, and we’re glad to have you in the space! I wanted to let you know that once per month we have both Open Stitch (first Sunday of the month) and Open Project (last Sunday of the month) if you’re looking to hang out with a larger group for textiles. I have also just learned how to knit, and I would love to see what you’re working on for the ren fest :eyes:
