Hi everybody!
My name is Collin and I became a member yesterday. I have a background in computer science but I’ve noticed a shift in my interests away from digital creation toward physical creation. That shift lead me to searching for a way to hopefully “rent” time from a local workshop. A quick search for workshops (on Google Maps of all things lol) revealed Lansing Maker Network to me. I checked the website for what the space had and knew I had to join.
I’m interested in just about everything LMN has to offer. I already have a few projects lined up; that I’ll be sure to share in the Show and Tell category. Beginning, I’ll mainly be in the woodworking, electronics, and digital fabrication areas but will be floating around as projects dictate.
