Help needed for Clean Up Work Night! Tuesday, March 18th 6:30pm. Also Astronomy on Tap announcement

Next Wednesday we are hosting Astronomy on Tap!

This excellent event welcomes astronomers from MSU to come give a talk about what they are working on. We’ll have a food truck (Triple E’s Eatery), beer for sale, and a make&take activity! Last year we had 120 people join us. This year is even more exciting as a documentary crew will also be here!

SO! We need to clean up a bit. I’m hosting a work night the night before, Tuesday the 18th, starting at 6:30pm. I’ll order some pizza.
The list of things to do:

  • Signs put up
  • Liability waivers printed
  • Tools picked up and put away
  • Bathrooms cleaned
  • break room cleaned
  • everything swept
  • Basically making things look presentable and safe.

Please come help! Many hands, light work, blah blah.

Can we bring anything? Chemicals, brushes, a small child that can push a broom?

I’ll be there for the blacksmithing class that night, will lend a hand afterwards if hands are still needed!

I’ll show up!

Thanks everyone!
I believe that we go got the supplies that we need already. Kids are welcome!

I can come over around 7

I volunteer as tribute. I’ll come on Tuesday

I’ll make sure the jewelry area is clean. I’ll either come in tomorrow afternoon or will take care of it when I’m in on Wednesday afternoon.

Same here - if we still need cleanup post-hook-class, I can pitch in!

Hi Siamak,
Would it be possible for me to photograph your two (or more) small sculptures to send to my friend (a former member and fellow sculptor/artist)? I’ll be in tonight to help with cleanup.
Thanks
Lou

  • Event Tables
  • Sweeping everywhere, but especially woodshop
  • Clean off ironworks large table
  • Take out trash

Hi Lou, sure, I would be so happy if you do so… see you soon
