Hey everybody, I hope you are all well. I’m siamak from Iran and we just move here to East Lansing, about four months ago, I just join your community and I’m so happy that I find you all, the lansing makers network community.
I’m a sculptor and I want to start to work beside you in this place. I would appreciate it, if some one can schedule a checkout for me for the metal shop as the starting point, I hope I can see you all in person and we can do amazing works together, and I’m looking forward to hear from you, thank you so much.

Hi Siamak, welcome! I can check you out on the horizontal bandsaw for metal, the drill press, the belt grinder, and the gas forge and sandblaster if you’re interested
Tagging in other folks who can run checkouts on stuff you might be interested in:
- @RealCarlRaymond can do checkouts on the rest of the metal shop
- @AdamT, @Jcard1415, and @seabrig29 can do welding checkouts (@Jcard1415 and @AdamT can also run checkouts on all the things I can)
What are some times that would work for you over the next couple weeks?

Thank you very much Maria. That would be great. I have a 4 year old son to take care of, and I can attend at the workshop from 7 pm till the end during the open hours, I don’t know if this time would work for you…
Would 7pm tomorrow (Saturday Jan 25) work for you?
