Interesting. Definitely looks like a useful machine.
I’m curious about something in the design though that maybe someone can answer for me: why use grip paper behind the belt on the back stop (5:50 - 5:56)? I would think that would just wear out the belt faster and you’d want the belt to slide against the back stop with less friction rather than more.
