I saw a post offering a full size loom for free from East Lansing.
It is my sincere desire that the loom go to someone who can appreciate and use it. I am not looking to sell it but rather to gift it to a practicing weaver or weaver’s guild. I only ask that whoever it is come to East Lansing to pick it up.

Where was the post? I’d be happy to follow up on this, I think it would be great to have a loom at the space!
If you can’t see that, I’ll respond to the poster and get contact information.
Hi folks. My wife has just acquired an indentical floor loom to the one you discussed four years ago, here in the UK. I don’t suppose you have any idea who originally manufactured them? If not, perhaps you still have the details of the person in Bath, MI who was offering it up on Nextdoor?
We’re really keen to discover the origins of this lovely piece of equipment and, perhaps, some further guidance on the optimum set up / usage. It’s showing a few signs of age and so we’re likely going to have to replace a few of the perishable items within it, to return it to tip-top condition!
Thanks in advance.
One of our members made it, I think it was @cafwood ? I’m not able to remember the specifics
Maybe that is a different loom, the one in our attic. I don’t know if we ended up getting this one.
Thanks @JamesFriend. Be great if @ed.symanzik or the others were able to chip in with their knowledge / recollections. We’re still trying to understand how identical floor looms ended up in both the UK and USA, neither of which appear to carry any maker’s mark. Somebody clearly thought they were worth exporting / importing!
