Friday events: Why you keep running into groups of people that you've never met before

Hey all!

Have you noticed that there has just been a bit more happening at the space recently? Random groups of people meeting and doing things?

Well! We have been trying out a Friday event series that seems to be going well, and that we’ll be doing more of in the new year! We want everyone in town to know that we exist.

Here is the upcoming schedule:

Events January
Knife sharpening 101 Jan 5
Maraconi Art Jan 12
Metal Casting with Greensand Demo by John Cardinal Jan 19
Lamp Work Demo by Maria Riolo Jan 26

These events are planned to be free or low-cost for visitors, and will let our members that do cool stuff to show off the cool stuff that they do!

Are you a member with something in particular that you’d like to talk to the public about? Always wanted to make cardboard castles with friends? Wish you had a place to bring your guild?
Let me know and we’ll get it scheduled.

Topics can be just about anything. Here’s what we’ve already done:
-Trebuchet Launch
-Lockpicking gathering
-Diamond Painting
-Talk by Jack about CNC and Lasers
