I have an extra shop vac I’m no longer using. Would it be useful in the woodshop? From talking with some it seems that there used to be one dedicated to the miter station that is no longer there.

Yes, we could certainly use another working shop vac.
Ok I’ll try to bring it around during the next open hours. I’ll leave it under the miter saw.
