Details of ISSUE or REQUEST (Please be as specific as possible):
The drill press height adjustment rack is bent significantly. The OEM part is unfortunately discontinued, but we’ve ordered what should hopefully be a direct replacement and should be here in a few days.

The drill press is still functional, but use extreme care when adjusting the height as the rack being bent makes this process difficult.

The proximate cause was the height adjustment being turned while the table was locked. I’ll create a volunteer task for improving the signage since this is the second time we’ve replaced this part.

EDIT: Task created

Please remember that VOLUNTEERS will be helping to resolve this issue. While everyone works very hard to fix things quickly, sometimes things take time. Please consider volunteering to help keep everything working well at our space!

Last night we got the bent rack straightened out. It was a combination of Cliff banging it with a hammer, and me watching Cliff bang it with a hammer.
