Does anyone have an old bike?

Hey!
Does anyone have an old (nonfunctional, unwanted, etc.) bike that could be donated to a worthy cause? I am working on a school project and specifically need a bike brake system including the lever and cables. I can pickup at your convenience.

You might chect the Lansing bike co-op, on Kalamazoo street. Or ask Tim Potter, the manager of the MSU bike shop. They are on the north side of the river, just west of Farm Lane.

Do you need disc brake or the cantilever brakes that squeeze the rim?

Thanks for the suggestions! I ended up getting one from a maker friend who keeps bike parts on hand for such projects. I might have to start doing that too!
