First meeting this fall for the DIY Musical Instrument Makers Group at Lansing Makers Network, second Sunday of the Moth like last year–
Sep. 13, 1 pm.
Presiding over this meeting will be someone most of you know Doug Large, a member at LMN who makes Native American type flutes and drums.
Come with a topic of interest to discuss, and as usual, with a musical instrument of your choice, whether you have built it, seek to repair/refurbish it, or perhaps to make something like it as a diy project.
And come with a piece of music to play, if you have a mind, either to begin or wrap up the festivities of the day.
Other than this, the agenda of the meeting is up to Doug and you–with the goal as ever to foster a community of diy musical-instrument builders help you along your way of your own music/maker journey!
I will be off probably for two monthly meetings and be back in November.
