This is the latest uke I have made, most of the work done at LMN, as usual for me now. I call this type the “Aetherea.” I only build alternative ukes that do not look like miniature guitars, and this is one of my favorite types with an asymmetrical free-form body shape. Can anyone help me on the wood id for the top? This is a piece of reclaimed wood, and I’m pretty sure it is elm or ash–but which?
