Damaged tool in the wood shop

A member pointed out to me that the sliding compound miter saw on the work bench in the southwest corner of the wood shop was damaged. The adjustable fences on both sides had been bent. It is not known how long they were like this. Fortunately, the sliding fences on the donor saw to the left of this one were almost exact replacements, and are now on the working saw.

If you see a tool that is damaged, or if you think it’s damaged, please bring it to my attention. If you accidentally damage something in the wood shop, please let me know as well. I won’t get angry, and I won’t lecture you. But I want to know how it happened, so that it can be repaired, and so we can add it to the checkout process to prevent recurrences.
