Please, if you damage a tool or the tool you want to use doesn’t seem to be working just right, let the front desk or area manager know. We do not shame or scold you. We want to be sure the tool runs properly for the next person to use and try to be sure we can prevent what happened from recurring. Just this week, the SawStop table saw and miter saw fence are damaged and need repair, and the large drum sanders paper will have to be changed again.
The drum sanders use is now restricted/out of service except for classes unless you want to buy your own sandpaper until we can figure out a way to cover the cost of sandpaper (about $34/roll) which is ruined instantly by glue not scraped off joints or trying to sand off paint or varnish.
