I was using the cnc today. Manually using the spoil board bit. But when i tried command m401 to probe a too the machine switched to mm ftom inch and started getting probed error. Indicating it traveled beyond the z axix. Evelyn knows, i also oppenef a request with NewCnc just in case they can help. If you know anyone who has input or experience pleade post here. If you have a checkout scheduled sunday, watch this space for updates. Og i also unclogged the dust collector on the cnc. If you notice its not doing anything say something in the future

I just did some research, and found that it is common that the machine switches to mm during the probing operation, and then switches to inches after. What exactly did the machine do? Did it crash into the tool bit setter, or did it go through the cycle, then give the error code?
Also if I can, I’ll try to get in on Friday and try to troubleshoot.
yes, I got an email from NewCNC stating the same thing switching to MM. However they didn’t understand the error. The tool travels up to z0 but then when it travels down to the probe it stops about half way and give “Probed Error limit reached”.
NewCNC said they would give us phone support for only $90 an hour. LOL
The cnc is back to normal. Please work with Evelyn to reschedual your cnc checkout.
