Good day everyone! I just signed up to be a member and would like to get started on my first wood working project. I would like get a checkout scheduled for the woodshop equipment. Is anyone available this week on Thursday 10/2 or Saturday 10/24?

I’m Tony, and I manage the wood shop. I normally have open hours on Thursday evenings for checkouts/authorizations, but I can’t be there this week. And I’ll be out of town this weekend.
Would you be available tomorrow (Monday, 10/19) around 3:30-5:30, or Tuesday 4-6 pm? I should be able to make one of those times work. If not, I’ll be back in town Sunday, and we can try Sunday evening. Also, what is your project, and what tools are you interested in using?

First and foremost, thank you for the great class yesterday. I had a ton of fun. I can do tomorrow but note that I get out of work at 5:00 PM. I work 10-15 minutes from LMN. So if you are okay with getting started between 5:15 PM and 5:30 PM, I can meet up with you for sure.
I have some furniture that I would like to make. My first one being a little set of stairs or maybe a ramp so my dog can get in and out of the bed easier. He is getting old. I also want to make some selves, a desk, and a dresser. As for tools, you showed me how to use the table saw, planer, and joiner yesterday. Not sure that that qualifies me to actually use them on my own. If not, I feel like that would be a good place to get started. If it does allow me to use them, then I for sure need to know the hack saw, circular saw, etc.
