Check out request for the Metal Lathe

I would like to get checked out on the Metal Lathe. I have some experience on a manual lathe and a lot of experience on a CNC lathe.

Excellent! How about tomorrow (Sunday) afternoon at 2:00pm.

After covering safety aspects, we’ll cut off a chunk of something, chuck it up, and do some turning, facing, and drilling. I’ll explain the tooling we have, although one session isn’t enough to use everything.

Anyone else interested is welcome to attend also. Please reply here if you’re coming so I’ll know who to expect.
