The little forge was having trouble holding heat after I replaced the insulation a few weeks ago. Last week I extended the floor so the hard bricks are now outside the fire chamber, and this appears to have helped a lot! Everyone should be using the smaller forge unless there are many (5+) people working at the same time or a larger heating area is needed.
Bobby put together a new pipe assembly that lets us run two tanks (of the same size!) at the same time. This can be used with either forge, and should be particularly helpful at keeping tanks from freezing up when using the larger forge.
Finally, we had a great open forge last Sunday (see picture) hope to see a lot of you tomorrow afternoon (3 PM to 7 PM).
