I just became a member so still trying to figure out things. I have a couple of oak and walnut slabs that I would like to run through the planer and sand and I’ve been checked out on the machinery. I’ve also taken the cutting board class. My $35 membership allows me access this weekend, 12-8pm Sat. and Sun. Is any one of these days and times better for what I would like to do?
Useage of the woodshop varies. We don’t have a tool reservation system; generally members are able to work around each other and share the space. There’s no hard pattern to tool usage.
If you’re going to be using a tool for an extended period, be willing to yield to someone else with a small job once in a while.
