Hi folks, I just wanted to put this out there in case anyone else wants to do this down the road. I’m currently converting an ammo can into a cigar humidor for a retirement gift and ran a test on Sunday to see what speed, power, and interval settings would work best against the enamel paint. See the pic below, the interval for everything was 0.1, the x-axis numbers refer to laser speed 100, 200, 250, and 300 (I had to stop the scan halfway because it was going to overlap the stars) and the Y-axis refers to the power setting. I stopped after 16 power because there didn’t seem to be a difference in the scan. The name below was at 16 power at a speed of 300 and the quote was at 10 power at a speed of 300. I hope this helps with someone else’s project. Prost!
