Hi all, I’m Adam the Welding Area Manager. I realized I haven’t introduced myself in the year or so that I’ve been here. I went to LCC for structural welding and I’m planning to take their creative welding class in January.
As a secondary bit of housekeeping I’ve been making a table that can be used for oxyacetylene cutting, and have reached the point where I need to weld around the frame to make it a bit stronger. I’m planning to use it as a way to teach folks some basic welding. No prior knowledge is required and I can run the weld checkouts for anyone that’d like one. Let me know if any of y’all are interested. I’m currently planning to start working on this in mid October, I’ll make another post about it in about 2 weeks. Here’s the frame so far.
If I’m available when you want to do it, I would like a reintro to welding. I have been interested in the creative welding class for some time, but the schedule has never fit well for me.
Alright looks like we’ve got a good amount of folks to start, I think I’ll start with October 10th(Friday 4pm-6pm) and October 11th-12th(Saturday and Sunday 5pm-8pm). Do these dates work for y’all? If not let me know and I can work with you to schedule different times.
Since it doesn’t seem like we’ll get everyone that wanted weld this week, I’m planning to set up another meet on Thursday(October 16th) starting at 3:30 and going till 7ish. @Tony@Tom_Burkhardt@Nicholas_Crofut does this work for y’all?
