2023 Holidays and Events Calendar (brainstorming wanted!)

Below is a list of holidays and events for 2023. In addition to considering which days LMN will be closed, I’d also like to use this list as a starting point for special events, fundraisers, etc. that we may wish to host.

If you have ideas for any of these dates/months, please share them in the comments so we can consider planning well enough in advance to make them happen if there’s enough support! Similarly, if there are holidays or events not in the list, please tell us those as well.

For supporting events and fundraisers, you will need support from within. You need community building and team building activities. Building a more cohesive team means less reliance on a smaller group of key hitters that will, and perhaps are, experiencing burn out. In talking with others, there used to be Friday night gatherings to watch videos, usually on youtube, and share ideas. This would be a good thing to reignite. Brainstorming will be more lively when there are warm bodies in the space.
