Hey all. Here’s a light update on what was talked about / accomplish at this town hall:
Patronicity Campaign
The group looked over the current draft of the Patronicity campaign page, corrected minor errors and made suggestions to improve formatting.
Decided that Patronicity launch date will continue to be “as soon as possible.” Some information needs to be exchanged between a couple of parties, re-formatted, and reviewed once again before completion.
When we launch, it was suggested that we announce our campaign in a community newsletter, in addition to our planned modes of communication. We will be looking into this as launch draws nearer.
Opening the Space
Volunteers are actively working to coordinate volunteer shifts so that the space can successfully be re-opened. This could take a matter of days, or a couple of weeks. The final opening date will be announced via a separate post on the talk site once we are sure there will be enough volunteers available.
This has been logistically challenging because: Some of our internal systems haven’t been used in over a year and need to be “turned back on,” we need a minimum number of shift leaders who already have the ability to “open” and “close” the space at the beginning and end of the day, and many volunteers are ALSO working on the Patronicity campaign / building move at the same time.
