Planer making weird noise

The planer makes a strange noise when turned on. I think something is wrong.

Please remember that VOLUNTEERS will be helping to resolve this issue. While everyone works very hard to fix things quickly, sometimes things take time. Please consider volunteering to help keep everything working well at our space!

Either a belt, or the head lock is engaged. I’ll look at it tomorrow.

It was the cutter lock that engages when changing blades. I think I got it fixed to not do that again.
