Hi there,
I just joined the makerspace this past week. I’m currently unsure of what exactly I want to spend my time doing but I just really dig the idea of this place and figured having the equipment available would get me making stuff in no time.
I have current thoughts of building flasks or doing laser etchings with veneer bending to make some cool wooden covers for flasks. I’m also interested in salvaging precious metals and casting and forging though I have no experience with this. I also have a lot of interest in radiation detectors but I don’t see that happening for years upon years in the future.
I’m very excited to be hanging around the space and look forward to meeting other makers.
